A rather long driving day today but turned out as a good day after 2 or 3 small stops then travelled off the Hume Highway and out to Beechworth – a gem in the wilderness!

Lots of ‘kitchy’ and gift shops all wide open to the Sunday browsing public but could have stayed there for ages – even managed to buy a bunch of Christmas presents – now to get them home again!!!

Arrived in Wagga about 4pm, checked in at the motel then had made prior arrangements to meet up with my cousin Jane and her partner Peter at a campsite in Wagga.

Found them no problems and were introduced to their home on wheels – an amazing top of the line campervan with trailer attached – trailer fits the washing machine, dryer, bikes, outdoor gear and then their full size 4WD! A great setup!

Quick cuppa with them then we’re off to the RSL for a feed.

Heading into Sydney tomorrow for last night on the road – yeah!!!! Change of clothes in a couple of days and out of the same 3 sets of clothes I’ve worn for 2 weeks!
