Brenda and Kemm's travels

Day 2 – Perth

2013, Travel with Mum

Weather not exactly wonderful again today but certainly didn’t seem to be as rainy as yesterday.

Headed off to Kings Park in the middle of Perth to check out the wildflower displays there. GPS is a great gadget getting you around when you really have little idea of where you are going!

Arrived about 11.30am, did a wander around ourselves then hooked up with a wildflower tour guide whom we followed for nearly and hour. Lots of interesting info from that.

By the time we had finished that, Mum wanted some new trousers and look at a Myer Centre somehwere so good old GPS was given a workout again and eventually found the Morley Shopping Centre and Myer of course. Bought the required garments then had an approximate time to go and see the people who now live in the house I built 30 odd years ago. What a great couple – very young with 3 young children but more than happy to show me what changes had taken place (not many!) and what their plans were. Seemed such a small house but then I suppose all first homes are smaller than what you end up with later on.

Had a coffe there then headed back to our apartment – via the chocolate shop!!! Mum!!!!
