Brenda and Kemm's travels

Narrandera to Mornington Peninsula

2012, Mornington Peninsula

Ho hum – another days drive but supposedly not an overly long one.

Thank goodness for the GPS as we headed into Melbourne and onto all the ring road toll roads – would hardly have known where to go otherwise.

Arrived in Rye approx 3pm and headed straight to Woolies for a quick grocery shop – managed to push my way into the quick service queue unknowingly upsetting all those patiently waiting!

I just saw an empty self-service checkout and headed there! Ho hum – at least they don’t know me. Reminds me of driving and making mistakes – we’ve got Queensland plates – we can do anything! Oops!

Our accommodation cottages are the same as those we stayed in last year but moved this year over to ‘Shellcroft’. It’s a little 3 bedder but wouldn’t want to have too many people there as it would be a bit of a squash with 4 or 5 people.

A breakfast pack is supplied free of charge for those on 2nd or more visit and it’s the absolute perfect size for 3 or 4 days. So with that and the goodies we travel with and purchased on arrival – we were set for the next few days.
